System Settings - Work Tickets
Work ticket format - This setting controls the work ticket format that will be printed when entering Rx information. Choose one of the available settings.
Reverse Rt / Lt on the work ticket - This setting refers to the placement of the OD and OS information on some work tickets. When checked, the OD and OS information is swapped on the work ticket.
PCL or PCI ticket cylinder conversion - This setting controls the plus cylinder conversion on the PCL work ticker.
When checked, the original Rx prints on both sides of the work ticket with the minus cylinder conversion only printed on the right side of the work ticket.
When un-checked, the minus cylinder conversion is printed on both sides of the PCL work ticket with the original Rx printed on the right side only.
use LOH tray option - The option is valid only for the PCL work ticket. If set, this prints and additional barcode, vertically, on the top right corner of the surfacing side of the work ticket. That allows the ticket to be folded, and placed into a LOH tray so that the barcode can be read by the readers as the tray passes through the conveyer system. The work ticket will not print the patient name on the surfacing side of the work ticket in this case.
use conveyer barcode option - When checked, the PCL work ticket will have the top third of the right side of the work ticket blanked out, and the order number printed vertically in the new white space. The barcode placement, allows for the folding of the work ticket into itself twice on the long side, (so it’s 4 sheets thick). This will place this order barcode at the top of the second fold so that when it is laced in a tray, it’s easier to scan, and stacking trays will not be hindered by the paper ticket.
Use A4 paper for WT -
combine wrap prism - Prism calculated as part of wrap compensation is usually printed on the work ticket as separate vertical and horizontal prism. If this checkbox is checked, wrap compensation prism will be combined and printed as one prism value at a single oblique axis.
2 barcodes for L/R with 0/1 at END - If the lab needs separate barcodes for the left and right eyes, using 0 and 1 at the end of the job number, check this option. This will cause two extra barcodes to be printed on the PCL work ticket, in the upper right side (where the conveyor barcode prints). These barcodes will consist of the job number plus a trailing 0 for the right eye, and the job number plus a trailing 1 for the left eye.
This option requires the conveyer barcode for tray number to be active.
2 barcodes for L/R with 0/1 at FRONT - If the lab needs separate barcodes for the left and right eyes, using 0 and 1 at the end of the job number, check this option. This will cause two extra barcodes to be printed on the PCL work ticket, in the upper right side (where the conveyor barcode prints). These barcodes will consist of the job number plus a leading 0 for the right eye, and the job number plus a leading 1 for the left eye.
This option requires the conveyer barcode for tray number to be active.
Print Actual Crib on W/T - When checked, this causes the crib and ELLH values on the PCL work tickets (only) to reflect the Actual CRIB and ELLH values when the work ticket is printed after the lens(es) have been sent to a generator. These “Actual” values are printed instead of the calculated values.
Print trace on PCI ticket - When checked, if the order has a valid trace, it will print vertically on the work ticket portion of the PCI work ticket.
XML W/T template - Enter the name of the User defined work ticket to use when printing Rx orders.
XML Addon W/T template - Enter the name of the User defined addon work ticket to use when printing Addon orders.
W/T Use paper size from PDF - When checked, the paper size for printing will be taken from the PDF document. When un-checked, the paper size will default to Letter size.
W/T PDPrint Options - If using PDPrint the lab can choose what options they would like to pass. The lab can use any supported option other than -lk, -c, -s, -o, or -p
Create PDF of W/T in Folder - Check this if you would like to save a copy of the work ticket PDF.
This option is only available for work ticket formats; PCI, PCL, PC2 and XML.
Users will need to enter the location of the folder. This can be done by entering the file location, or alternatively, using the browse icon.
Work ticket printer - Device or file name to print the work ticket or optional work ticket. This refers to the destination of the printed work ticket. MD-DOS is setup to handle several printer devices, PRN, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3. This feature allows you to specify which device the work tickets will be printed to. You may also use a 3-4 character file name that will hold tickets for later printing.
W/T printing turned ON - This switch controls the setting of the on/off states regarding the work tickets when adding/modifying an order.
Print WT at OE for digital jobs? - This flag selects whether work tickets should be turned ON within Order Entry for digital jobs, separately from non-digital jobs. This allows a lab to turn work tickets off when entering or modifying digital jobs, as well as when receiving jobs electronically, and only have the work tickets print when results come back from the digital calculator.
Zebra Work Ticket printer - Device or file name to print the work ticket or optional work ticket.
“Zebra W/T printing turned ON” will need to be activated in order for Zebra jobs to be printed, otherwise all printer settings applied to the Zebra Work Ticket will be ignored.
Zebra work tickets can be printed within the order entry screen or when sent through the digital surfacing processor.
Trace Only W/T template - Enter the name of the User defined Trace Only work ticket. This work ticket prints an orphan trace (a trace that is not associated with a job).
This is used by labs who trace a frame, and edge the frame shape without entering a job into Rx-Universe.
T-O W/T PDPrint Options - If using PDPrint the lab can choose what options they would like to pass. The lab can use any supported option other than -lk, -c, -s, -o, or -p
E-Ticket interface activated - If checked E-Ticket trigger events will be generated
E-Ticket uses HTTPS - if checked E-Ticket calls will be made using SSL
E-Ticket server - this is the ip address or computer name E-Ticket requests should go to
E-Ticket port - this is the network port E-Ticket communications should use
E-Ticket access token - the token issue by the E-Ticket software that should be used to authenticate requests
Days to keep E-Ticket triggers - if E-Ticket does not accept a template change request we will try again later. This is how many days failed requests should be kept in the system.
E-Ticet retry time (minutes) - This is how often Rx-Universe should wait before retrying failed E-Ticket updates
E-Ticket File Folder - this is the folder Rx-Universe should use to send new order notifications to E-Ticket
E-Ticket processor pause time (secs) - This is the delay that the E-Ticket processor screen will introduce between each of it’s processing sessions.
