Overview

For your customers who would like to know the progress of their orders in the lab, Rx-Universe has the ability to send them email notifications with the status of their jobs.

NOTE: Lab must have Job Tracking installed and running.

Setting Up E-mail sending function in Rx-Universe

To enable the sending of emails from Rx-Universe please follow the instructions below:

Customer Set Up

In order to set the emails for each customer that you would like to receive WIP notifications, please go to Orders tab and then Customers, select the customer and under the General tab set the e-mail and the frequency:

*You can set the WIP to report every hour or at scheduled times up to a maximum of 3 times per day.


Work Station Set Up

The next step in setting Rx-Universe up to send the WIP is to create a Work Station named EN. This Work Station will run the e-mail notification service; make sure to put EN in the Auto Command field



How to Create the Report

You can run the app manually from the Remote tab – Email Notificaton WIP or we recommend you create a shortcut in order to be able to run the Email Notification application on the work station:

When the app is running you will see something like the picture below:

If everything is set correctly, the customers will start to receive e-mail notifications with a subject “Work in Progress report” like the following one:
