ViStar Production Statistics Report
This report can be found in the Reports menu, under Order Reports, then Legacy Reports.
The Production Statistics Report reports on completed orders and orders that are pending completion (shipped but not gone through a day end). It displays a variety of information and in some cases shows it in more than one way. This report does not include Stock orders.
You can select a date range, a print by option, a customer, a report group and whether you want subtotals by customer. Each of these options will be discussed below.
Start Date / End Date - enter the desired date range
Print By - you can select from Bill To, Ship To, or Ordered By. Ordered By is the same as Bill To unless the Billing account is flagged as a VSP, in which case orders will be printed using the Ship To account.
Start Customer - You can select a customer to begin reporting from, “First” or “(none)”. Choosing “(none)” will switch to using a Report Group, the same as the Use Group button.
End Customer - You can select a customer to end reporting with or “Last” or “(none)”.
Report Group - you can select one specific report group or (none). Please see Report Groups for details on how to create.
Sort by Customer with Subtotals - if you select to print the report by Ship To, “All” customers or a specific report group, you will have the option to check this field. When checked, it will print a report for each ship to, customer or report group and then a summary report at the end. When not checked, just a summary report will be printed.
Please see a sample report below
Information on how fields are calculated:
Jobs/Day - Number of Jobs / Number of Working Days The number of working days is the number of days from the Start Date to the End Date minus any days that are marked as holiday dates in the Holiday Dates database.
Days/Job - Number of Days to Complete Job / Number of Jobs The number of days to complete job is the number of days from the order receive date to the order completion date minus any days that are marked as holiday dates in the Holiday Dates database. *NOTE - if the order receive date and the order completion date are the same, the Number of Days to Complete Job is zero. This is consistent with other Rx-Universe reports.
Sales - Total of all Jobs
Avg. Lens Price (Pair) - Total Lens Price / Total number of Lenses, then multiplied by 2
Avg. Frame Price - Total Frame Price / Total number of jobs that had Frames Frame totals are made up of the following three fields from an order: Frame, Temple and Side Shield.
Avg. Other Price - Total Other Price / Total number of jobs that had Other Prices Other prices are addons, misc fields, etc. (any price that is not a frame, temple, side shield or a lens).
Avg. Total Price - Sales / Number of Jobs
Avg Days - Days taken to complete jobs / Number of Jobs
Finished Lenses - Number of Jobs using Finished Lenses / Number of Jobs
