Thickness Set Up and Troubleshooting

Thickness problems fall into two major categories, and each is treated separately herein.

1. Center thickness of the lens does not match the center thickness on the work ticket
2. The center thickness of the lens matches the center thickness of the work ticket, but the edge thickness of the lens does not.

In all cases, the starting point for trouble-shooting thickness problems is to determine whether the center thickness of the blank matches the work ticket, after generating.  If possible, measuring the thickness while still blocked can allow changes to be made and possibly save the lens blank.
