Frame Trace Export

Overview

You have the ability to export Frame Traces from Rx-Universe to a VCA-Format file.  This will give you the option to import this file into a 3rd party software or edge the shape if you have an edger capable of reading and processing this file.

How To:

From the main Menu, select the "Orders" tab and then "Frame Tracings":


Double click on the desired tracing or click on the Edit button:

Just beside the "Trace Name" you will see the "Export" button; just click on it (smile)

You will then see the Export window:


To select the location where you want to create your export file and to name your export file, click on the browse button :

Select the folder where to create the file and specify a file name.  Click on the "Save" button:

Now click on the "Create Export" button:

How to modify the ".LDI" file:

You can add or remove VCA labels from this file by modifying the ".LDI" file:

At this point of the process, click on the "View/Edit VCA labels" button:

At this point you can add labels and remove labels.  Just make sure you are using standard VCA labels and they are valid labels for frame tracing information.

Once you have completed your changes, just click on the save button to save your changes or the exit button to ignore your changes and leave the edit mode.
