Rx - Allow PD NPD difference above range

An accurate pupillary distance (PD) measurement is required to make prescription glasses.

For example, a pupillary distance measurement is 67/64. This means that your pupil distance for distance vision (or DPD) is 67, and for near vision (or NPD, for reading eyeglasses or multifocal lenses) is 64.

As a default, the system accepts a maximum of 10mm difference for PD and NPD. More than this range will block the system order entry with an error message.

To bypass the system default accepted value for the PD and NPD difference, Go to Setup > System settings > Order 2 tab, and inside the Patient PD options check the “Allow PD NPD Difference above range”.
