Side Shield tab

The side shield is only visible if the frame Module is active.

The tab allows for the entry of a side shield ony.

There are 2 ways to enter a side shield in this section, you can either use the browse button next the “Side shield” heading, or you can enter a UPC code in the UPC field. The browse button will take you to the Rx-Inventory browse screen. Note that any entries in the sides shield fields will be used to search the Rx-Inventory data for matches or partial matches.

When entering a UPC, the code is verified against the data in Rx-Inventory, and if a match is found, the information for that UPC is returned and displayed in the appropriate fields.

If the pricing module is active, the price for the side shield will also be retrieved from the Rx-Inventory system when the “Calc” button is pressed.
