Frame tab

The frame tab is only visible if the Frame Module is active.

The tab allows for the entry of a whole frame or frame part (bridge, front or temple) in the “Frame Part 1” area. If the entered “Frame Part1” is a front or a bridge, then access to “Frame Part 2” will be permitted. this will allow for the entry of a temple part.

There are 2 ways to enter a frame in this section, you can either use the browse button next the “Frame part 1” heading, or you can enter a UPC code in the UPC field. The browse button will take you to the Rx-Inventory browse screen. Note that any entries in the frame part 1 fields will be used to search the Rx-Inventory data for matches or partial matches.

When entering a UPC, the code is verified against the data in Rx-Inventory, and if a match is found, the information for that UPC is returned and displayed in the appropriate fields. This will also include the fields in the “frame information” box if the Frame information is displayed on the main order screen. (See system settings, Order1 tab, “Prompt for frame information”).

If the pricing module is active, the prices will also be retrieved from the Rx-Inventory system when the “Calc” button is pressed.

The Frame Part 2 area only allows for the entry of a temple type part. The browse and UPC fields work the same as in the frame part 1.
