Introduction

This document provides instructions for setting up an account to use fixed bins. A bin is an organizational system that maximizes space in the mailroom facility in the lab. A bin location can be customized on an account by account basis.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.

Select Option 1 – Customer Database and press Enter.

Select Option 4 – Add/Edit an Account and press Enter.

The Customer Database Modifications screen will display.

Enter the Company Code.
Enter the Branch Code.
Enter the Sales Territory code.
Enter the Account Number.

The Editing Account screen is displayed.

Press Enter until you reach the Fixed Bin # field.
Enter a number that is 5 digits or less. This field accepts numeric values only. Do not use alphabetic values.

Press Enter passed the remaining fields.

Is this data correct (Y/N)?

Enter “Y” to continue or “N” to edit.
