Introduction
This document provides instructions for setting up Coat Complete tracking. This process stops jobs from being mailed out unless the job has been tracked to the Coat Complete station.
Procedure
Coat Complete Lite-up
Set up a COAT TO DO lite-up.
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter
Select Option 4 – Pricing Database Editor and press Enter
Select Option 4 – Lite-up Options and press Enter
Select Option 1 – Add/Edit Lite-up Options and press Enter.
- Add an entry as shown in the example below. The number in our example is 280 but you can use any number that you have available.
Dependent Lite-up
Setup Dependent Lite-ups.
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter
Select Option 4 – Pricing Database Editor and press Enter
Select Option 6 – Dependent Lite-up Options and press Enter
Select Option 1 – Add/Edit Dependent Lite-up Options and press Enter.
- Add entries as shown in the example below. You will need to add an entry for all your coating lite-ups. This will set the COAT TO DO lite-up to come on automatically whenever a Coating lite-up is on.
Example:
Coat Complete Station
Add a COAT COMPLETE station.
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 7 – Tray Track and press Enter
Select Option 12 – Tray Track Configuration and press Enter
Select Option 2 – Submaster Station Number Setup and press Enter
- Add an entry as shown in the example below.
- Enter the COAT COMPLETE lite-up number in the Light Up Number field.
Example:
When you try to mail out a job that has a coating with the COAT TO DO lite-up on you will see the following message:
- Press C to continue.
The screen below displays but the job is NOT mailed out.
In the quick-lookup screen, we see that it did not mail out:
Station Assignment
To mail out the job, the COAT COMPLETE station must be scanned.
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 7 – Tray Track and press Enter
Select Option 7 – Station Assignment and press Enter
- Enter the new COAT COMPLETE station number that you created.
- Enter or scan the tray number of the job that needs to be released.
The job is tracked to the COAT COMPLETE station.
Once the job is scanned to the COAT COMPLETE station, you can mail out the job.
