Sub-Master Station Descriptions that have associated functionality or processes.

Although you can scan trays into these stations via a scanner not attached to a computer, the special effects associated with the name will only work through Station Assignment. Check with Optifacts for a complete list.

JOB DATA ENTRY

  • This setup looks for job data fields associated with a given tray. All fields triggered get prompted. It allows you to edit Medicaid numbers or PO numbers after initially entering them.
  • It also allows a layout operator to escape from the data prompts to allow a second station to deal with miscellaneous data.

Refer to the Job Data Entry Change Station Setup & Process document for full instructions.

MRP BLOCKING

  • Forces a tray to MRP Blocking and prints a new work ticket. It is convenient if specific generator/blocker configurations require MRP blocking, but the determination to use this combo gets done after the Order Entry process. It also saves an operator from going back into Order Entry to recall for this one function.

SPECIFY BLOCK

  • Allows an operator to enter block sizes for a LOH blocker for a given job. Requires that you have set up the following two stations in Job Data Definitions and Job Data Triggers.
    • SPECIFY BLOCK R
    • SPECIFY BLOCK L

PRICING STATION

  • Allows you to enter lite-up options missed at order entry without going back into Order Entry.
  • Will work with dependency options.
  • Will turn off a lite-up that was already on.
  • WILL NOT prompt for a frame price or other hand price if the lite-up requires hand pricing or comment entry.

SURFACE BLOCK

  • Touches a file referenced by the surfacing equipment to determine if enough chill time has passed. It allows a workaround for non-interfaced blockers, but it is only available through Station Assignment.
