Introduction

This document provides instructions for creating a lite-up to prompt a user at the Mailout station.

Procedure

Add/Edit Lite-up

Refer to the Lite-ups (Pricing Options) documentation for full details on creating and editing lite-ups.

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.

Select Option 4 - Pricing Database Editor and press Enter.

Select Option 4 – Lite-up Options and press Enter.

Select Option 1 – Add/Edit Lite-up Options and press Enter.

The Lite-up Options window displays.

If you are adding a new entry, you will see a message on the top right side of the screen. If you are editing an existing lite-up, the system will display the information on the form.

Follow the directions as described below.

Lite-up Name

• Enter the name in the lite-up field with a plus sign (+) before the name.

In the following example, we want the system to prompt the user to confirm that they included a Frame Case in the shipping box at the mailout station.

Mailout

The system prompts the user to confirm that they included a frame case with the job.

• If the user responds “N,” the order will not mail out.
• If “Y,” then the job gets mailed out.
