Introduction

This document provides instructions for adding, editing automatic lite-ups by power.

Procedure

Add/Edit Automatic Lite-ups by Power

This feature allows you to create or edit automatic lite ups.

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option - 3 Editor Utilities and press Enter.

Select Option 4 - Pricing Editor and press Enter.

Select Option 5- Automatic Lite-up Options and press Enter.

Select Option 3 - Add/Edit Automatic Lite-up by Power Options and press Enter.

The Automatic Lite-up by Power screen displays.

• Press "A" to add a new record or "U" to update an existing record.

Automatic Lite-Up by Power Fields:

ACCOUNT CODE: This can be applied to a specific account or globally assigned using 0 (zero) in the account code field.

• Enter the account number to apply the automatic lite-up to or type 0 (zero) to have the automatic lite-up apply to all accounts

PRIORITY NUMBER: The priority number places the automatic lite-up in a hierarchy.

• Enter the number to be used

COMMERCIAL BRAND NAME: The Commercial Brand to which the automatic lite-up will apply.

• Enter the Commercial Brand Name if applicable. (If left blank, the automatic lite-up will apply to all lenses.)

MATERIAL CODE: The lens material to which the automatic lite-up will apply.

• Enter the material code or type * (asterisk) to apply to all materials

COLOR CODE: The lens color to which the automatic lite-up will apply.

• Enter the color code or type * (asterisk) to apply to all colors

STYLE CODE: The lens style to which the automatic lite-up will apply.

• Enter the lens style code or type * (asterisk) to apply to all lens styles

LENS TYPE: The lens type to which the automatic lite-up will apply.

• Enter the lens type code or type * (asterisk) to apply to all lens types

SPHERE POWER RANGE:

• Enter the applicable option as shown below
  • Enter the beginning sphere power (-99.99 – 99.99)
  • Enter the ending sphere power (-99.99 – 99.99) (Must be >= to the beginning sphere power range)

CYLINDER POWER RANGE:

• Enter the applicable option as shown below
  • Enter the beginning cylinder power (-99.99 – 99.99)
  • Enter the ending cylinder power(-99.99 – 99.99) (Must be >= to the beginning cylinder power range)

AXIS RANGE:

• Enter the applicable option as shown below
  • Enter the beginning axis (0.0 – 180.0)
  • Enter the ending axis (0.0 – 180.0) (Must be >= to the beginning axis power range)

ADD RANGE:

• Enter the applicable option as shown below
  • Enter beginning add power (0.0 – 99.99)
  • Enter the ending add power (0.0– 99.99) (Must be >= to the beginning add power range)

LITE-UP (NUM): The first number on the pricing options available report for the applicable pricing option.

• Enter the lite-up num

LITE-UP (BIT): The second number on the pricing options available report for the applicable pricing option.

• Enter the lite-up bit

LITE-UP ON OR OFF: Flag to indicate if the lite-up should be turned on or off.

• Enter the letter “O” to turn on the lite-up
• Enter the letter “F” to turn off the lite-up.

• Press Escape to exit.
