Introduction

This document provides instructions for assigning a bin location to an inventory frame.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:             

Select Option 12 – Frame-Parts Inventory and press Enter.

Select Option 1 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.

Select Option 5 – Frame Description Editor and press Enter.

• Press "Q" – to Query a frame.
• Enter the search criteria and press Escape to retrieve the frame data.
• Once the frame displays on the screen, press "D" for Detail.
• Press "U" to Update a frame.

The active cursor is now in the Bin Location field.

Bin Location

• Enter the bin location.

Stock Status

• Enter the stock status.
• N - Non-stock frame
• Y - stocked frame
• D – Discontinued

Min/Max

• Enter the Min/Max
• M - Manage manually
• C - Computed Usage counts (min/max)

Min Stock Count

• Enter the Min Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the minimum quantity.

Max Stock Count

• Enter Max Stock Count – If using computed usage enter the maximum quantity.

• Press Escape to save the data.
• Press "M" to return to the Frame Description table or "E" to Exit.
