Version 7.32.00

Released 13 October 2020

Device Interfaces

The native (non-VCA) Satisloh generator interface has been enhanced to allow for elliptical cribbing.

Digital Interfaces

The Hoya digital calculator uses a custom label to indicate that a design should be decentered - _OptimizeDecenterFlag.

When the option “Center Design on Frame” is set on a Hoya design hat supports optimized decentration, as follows:

the this will trigger “_OptimizeDecenterFlag=1” to be sent to the Hoya calculator in the LDS file, and Hoya will calculate decentration of the design on the blank, if required. If the above checkbox is not checked, then _OptimizeDecenterFlag=0 will be sent, and no decentration of the design on the blank will be done.

Of course, _OptimizeDecenterFlag must be set up in the LDI file for Hoya in order for this option to be sent.

Labs should ensure that their Hoya calculator is correctly configured to accept this parameter from Rx-Universe.

When setting up a new Hoya digital interface, the “Send DIA as CRIB if CRIB=0” flag in the device parameter record for Hoya will be set to “checked” automatically.

Remote Orders

Eyefinity recently increased their job number for private pay jobs from 8 digits to 9 digits. Rx-Universe has been changed to send the complete 9-digit number to Eyefinity in response messages.

When sending an order to a VisionWeb lab, only send the CLNVB label if the lens style requires it.

Pricing

The auto addon code of “SW”, segment width, was not pricing. This has been corrected.

API Endpoints

A new endpoint has been added to accept lens receiving against a purchase order. For details, see
