Version 7.03.00

Released 27 November 2017

Digital and Device Interfaces

For Zeiss digital, multiple LDPATH files are returned and the correct one chosen based on a combination of type, vendor and model.  When devices were connected in a daisy-chain fashion (multiple devices on the same COM port, or using the same TCP/IP address), the vendor and model of the last valid communication was used to try to identify which LDPATH file to send. In some cases, this could result in no file being found.  This has been corrected (version 7.02.01).

A new label, _TEMPORALADD, has been added for Crossbows (version 7.02.01).

Eyezen jobs (and other digital SV with a fitting height and a fitting cross) were not sending the correct values for segment location to the Gerber Step2 blocker (FSEGDN value).   This has been corrected (version 7.02.02).

When a frame type is present with thickness rules, and thickness rules are also set for a specific tint/treatment combination (ie polarized), the frame thicknesses were taking precedence.  It should be the thickest of the possible options that gets used; this change affects the values sent in the MINEDG and MINCTR labels.

Added support for PLRCRV and PLRLOC labels (version 7.03.00).

When a lab uses multiple engraving devices (for example, a laser engraver and mechanical engraving on the generator), Essilor digital jobs need to be able to send different ENGMARK records for different devices (for example, one set of ENGMARK records for the Orbit and a different set for a laser engraver).  In addition, there could be some ENGMARK records in common for both.  Changes have been made to save ENGMARK records from the main section of the LMS file (outside any LDCRYPT blocks) and also to save ENGMARK records that are sent within LDCRYPT blocks for specific devices.  For the DEO:VFT block, the records are saved for all device GEN types; for DEO:LASEROPLM3, the records are saved for ENG session type; any other DEO: value, the records are saved for the session type that follows DEO:.  ENGMARK records outside of LDCRYPT blocks are saved with no specific device type (so will be sent to any device requesting ENGMARK) (version 7.03.00).

A new label, CLNVB, has been added for Varilux X products; this can be activated by specific lens style, on the Optional tab, which makes it accessible on the Optional Surfacing/F12 screen in order entry (version 7.03.00).

The ELLH, for uncuts without frame, were defaulting to 2mm larger than the block size instead of defaulting to the crib size.  This has been corrected (version 7.03.00).

A new check box,”Use _TEMPORALADD”, has been added to the “Optional Fields” tab for the Lens Style database (version 7.02.01).

The Surfacing Option screen in order entry has been modified to add a new NVB parameter, which is used for Varilux X products (version 7.03.00).

When no PD was entered for an uncut with frame, the DBL was being set to zero.  This has been corrected (version 7.03.00).

When entering a right eye only job, the left eye decentration/PD field was accessible and caused the calculations to return an error.  This has been corrected (version 7.03.00).
