VCA Label Table Settings

A new option, SBF/SBU Settings, has been added to VCA Label Table Settings.  This will allow the user to change the Tint Present setting from ‘No’ to ‘Not Applicable’ or from ‘Not Applicable’ to ‘No’ for the Smart Blue Filter lenses in the Essilor (ESS) table (version 7.07.01).

Reports

If the Orders in Process report was more than three pages, the last line of the page would continue onto the first line of the next page.  This has been corrected (version 7.07.01).

The Essilor Digital Report has been modified so that it will work for labs that do not have Job Tracking.  It will report the orders with the date it was shipped (version 7.07.03).

A new “Hourly Job Station Report” has been added to the “Job Tracking Reports” menu (version 7.08.00).

The Valuation Report, found under “Inventory Reports”, has been modified to now add a Detail option.  The report has also been renamed to “Quantity & Valuation Report” (version 7.08.00).

The Lens Usage by Manufacturer report has been modified to now include a total sheet (version 7.08.00).

Miscellaneous Changes

For thin client sessions, the XML Work Ticket template field in System Settings has been modified to automatically look at the RX-XML folder on the server.  The same change has also been made for the Template Filename on the Additional Documents screen (version 7.07.01).

A new checkbox has been added to the Blank Selection tab in System Settings; “Create blank selection log file SURF\order.SEL”.  If checked, each time blank selection is done for an order, entries will be added to a file named ordernumber.SEL, located in the SURF folder under the root Rx-Universe folder.  This option should only be checked when trouble-shooting is being done on blank selection problems at a lab.  Note that .SEL files created with this option will need to be manually removed once they are no longer needed (version 7.07.02).

When printing AR envelopes, the program was looking at the price file to determine if coatings were to be applied.  This has been changed to now look at the addon file (version 7.07.02).

A new field has been added to the Orders2 tab in System Settings; “NPD Default Difference”.  The default is currently set to 1.5 (version 7.08.00).

Ship Jobs has been modified to now use the default setting from System Settings, Shipping tab, when setting the default for the “Function” field (version 7.08.00).


VisionWeb

A change had been made recently to the VisionWeb interface to accept a specified base curve from VisionWeb.  Unfortunately, when a base curve was specified for a job, it was being carried forward to other jobs that were processed afterwards, and the base curve was assigned to those jobs as well.  This has been corrected (version 7.07.02).

Device Interfaces

Since the 3B blocker does not request SGOCUP, it was causing the fitting drop to not show for Eyezen lenses.  Changes have been made to modify the OCHT for these lenses to be the SEGHT less the fitting drop from the Digital tab (version 7.07.03).

A new label, HASENG, has been added.  A change has also been made to now send AR coating in the ACOAT label (version 7.07.03).

ENGMARK was being truncated at 80 characters.  This has been modified to now allow up to 200 characters (version 7.08.00).

Added support for SURFMT label for the Schneider non-alloy blocker (version 7.08.00).

Added an option to the VCA over-ride table to force a label to a device, even if the label isn’t specified in the initialization session (version 7.08.00).

Customer Service

The order entry screen has been modified to now display the stock OPC codes and descriptions when blank selection is finished (version 7.07.03).

The View Job History option has been modified to now show the most recent entries at the top of the list and the oldest entries at the bottom (version 7.07.03).

When entering a left eye only job and the “Filter lenses by availability" was checked, the color list box was not being populated.  This has been corrected (version 7.08.00).

Orders were not being deleted when the system variable was set to permanently remove deleted orders.  This has been corrected (version 7.08.00).

If different uncut diameters are entered for the right and left eyes for an uncut without frame, the program now calculates the seg height separately for the left eye based on the left eye uncut diameter (version 7.08.00).

Fixed Crib Diameters have been implemented.  Please see Setting Up Fixed Crib Diameters (version 7.08.00).

Inventory

The Inventory Count process has been modified to now have the ability to print the Variance Report without having to first post (version 7.08.00).
