Version 7.49.00

released 12 July 2022

Account Receivable

Payment entry has been enhanced to allow for a payment that is larger than the balance owing on an account. The over-payment will be automatically created as a credit against the account when the payment is saved.

Volume discount, when calculating the threshold sales for the volume discount calculations, the lab can now select between using all sales or discountable sales for the trigger volume amount. This is decided by the use of a new checkbox in the Setup, System Settings, AR tab.

Device Interfaces

In some cases, the ART-Auto can block lenses and not upload the new thickness values, this results in the wrong values being sent to the generator, and breakage on the lenses. Rx-Universe now sets a flag when a device marked as an ART requests job data, and if a valid upload is not received, we will send an appropriate message when the job is requested on a generator.

API Endpoints

A new endpoint has been added that allows adding new shipper carrier codes.

For unvalid jobs, the /jobs/late endpoint was returning the job station description of the previous valid job, instead of for the current unvalid job.

Blank Substitutions

In some cases, the details shown in the lower screen were not the ones for the selected blank substitution. Also, if you were to edit a rule, when returning to the browse screen, the highlighted item was always the last one in the grid and not the one that was being modified.

Digital processing

A new digital provider has been added. You can now process Rodenstock White Label lenses.

For Shamir Digital, support for decentration of designs on “Uncut without frame” orders has been added.

Order entry

In some cases the “Order requires AR” or “Order requires tint” flags were not being set. These are required for the correct operation of the job flow verification. This has been resolved.

When processing a remake order, if the original order had prism thinning, send PTOK=0 when the label is requested.

When un-completing an order from a previous date, then making changes to it, and re-completing the order using a past date, depending on how the order was uncompleted, the invoice could show an incorrect “Date Out” in some situations. This has been corrected.

In Order Entry, if the user tries to use a tray number that already has an active job in it, Rx-Universe prompts the user whether or not to complete the job currently in the tray. The default response to the message box was YES, so if the user pressed <enter> without reading the message, the job currently in the tray would be completed. We have changed the default response to be “No”, so the user must specifically answer “Yes” to have the current job completed.

Remote Orders

An issue where an incorrect trace shape could sometimes be attached to a remote order, if the remote order specified a supply frame, but the specified frame did not exist in frame inventory, and a valid shape for that frame also did not exist.

Changes have been made to the Eyefinity interface to user a new encryption key provided for Rx-Universe labs.

Eyefinity Interface

A new translation type has been added to the Eyefinity translation table - please see section 2.3a of the for details.

Rx-Xplore XML Export

Change to export the number of days an order has been in house and the number of days since the order was validated.

The number of days late was only being calculated for completed orders. A change has been made to now also calculate the number of days late for In Process orders.
