Create PO for special order lenses when order put "On Order"
Background
By default, Rx-Universe will order special-order lenses when orders are received, ensuring lenses are in stock as soon as possible to manufacture the job.
In some cases, a lab may not wish to order special order lenses right away. One example would be orders that are waiting for frames from the ECP; since it may take several days (or longer) for the frames to arrive, rather than ordering lenses and then having to keep track of them while waiting for the frame, the lab may prefer to wait for the frame to arrive first, then place the order into a “Waiting for lenses” status and have that trigger ordering the lens.
Beginning in version 7.72, this functionality is controlled by an option on the Inventory tab under System Settings, as follows:
If this option is checked, then lenses marked as special-order (as opposed to lenses regularly stocked) will only be allocated when the order is scanned to a job station marked as “Lenses on order”
To assist in identifying which orders have been allocated and which have not, new flags have been added to the View Inventory Transactions screen in the Customer Service grid:
