Do Not Route Job Routing Rule

Introduction
This document provides instructions to set up a routing rule that will stop a job from automatically routing.
Procedure
Set up a Do not Route Lite-up
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 3 - Editor Utilities and press Enter.
Select Option 4 - Pricing Database Editor and press Enter.
Select Option 4 - Lite-up Options and press Enter.
Select Option 1 - Add/Edit Lite-up Options and press Enter.
The Add/Edit Lite-up Options screen displays.
- Enter an * (asterisk) in the Valid for Glass, Plastic, Both field.
- Enter the Lite-up number. (This is the lite-up number that you see on the pricing options screen in order entry.)
The rest of the fields display on the screen. Enter all the data as shown in the following diagram, pressing Enter past each field.
- Are the entries correct (Y/N)?
- Press “Y” to confirm
- Press “N” to return to the form.
- Press Escape to exit.
Routing Rule
Step 1 - Route Destination Editor
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 3 - Editor Utilities and press Enter.
Select Option 11 - Job Routing Menu and press Enter.
Select Option 11 - Route Destination Editor and press Enter.
The Job Routing Destination Control Manager screen displays.
- Press “A” to add a new record.
- Create a new Routing Destination as shown in the following diagram.
- Destination Site - internl
- Out-Going File Format - OPTI2.8
- Transmit Protocol - I
- Destination directory - /u/optifacts
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press "E" to exit.
Step 2 - Route Conditions Control Editor
Select Option 9 - Route Conditions Control Editor and press Enter.
The Job Routing Condition Control Manager is displayed.
- Press “A” to add a new record.
- Create an entry as shown in the following diagram.
- Condition ID - DO NOT ROUTE
- Destination Site - internl
- Press “N” in the Force Uncut field and press Enter
- Press “N” in the Dispatch Job field and press Enter.
- Press Enter down to the Clear All Lite-ups field.
- Press “N”
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press "E" to exit.
Step 3 - Route Reason and Control Editor
- Select Option 8 - Route Reason and Control Editor and press Enter.
The Job Routing Reason and Control Manager displays.
- Press “A” to add a new record.
- Enter all the data as shown in the following diagram, using your priority number as decided by your lab.
- Priority - The number must be higher than the other rules you have where you do not want the job to hit those rules first.
- Condition ID - Must match the ID in menu 3-11-9 Job Routing Condition Control Manager.
- Comments - A description of what the rule represents.
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press "E" to exit.
