Creating a Log file

If you need to troubleshoot the AcuServer connection and configuration you can enable a log. This text log will contains misc errors and events.

To enable the log you need to use the AcuServe.exe program. This is typically found in the subfolder of the directory location of your RxSite installation. In this example, the location is "C:\RxSite\acugt\bin\acuserve.exe"

Once you launch the acuserve.exe an interface will come up.

1- Click on the "Services" Tab and choose "Properties"

 

2- Enter a path in the Error File field, in this example we used the default location of the "a_srvcfg file", so we added a name called acuserve.err. (note this file can be called "anything.err"..). Next change the Trace Level from 0 to 7.Click "Ok" this will bring you back to the main "service" screen of the acuserve

3- Then highlight the service and click "stop" and "start". This will create the log file and will start logging events.
