Ad-Hoc Label Printing
Overview
This page allows a user to create groups of frames to print labels for, in a specified scale.
For example, a user might create a group of frames for the TEST manufacturer, and specify a scale of 2. This would print labels for all frames in the group twice. (eg. 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4).
Permissions
The relevant permissions for importing frame data can be found in Rx-Hub → Roles → (Specific Role) → Rx-Inventory. Learn more or get a refresher on how our User Roles and Permissions work.
To use the complete ad-hoc label printing feature, you need permissions from Ad-Hoc Label Printing Groups, and Ad-Hoc Label Printing Frames.
Groups are the high level frame groupings (the table you see when you click on the Ad-Hoc Label Printing) menu item.
Frames are the frames within a group.
These permissions work how you would expect a create/read/update/delete permission to work.
The PRINT permission on ad-hoc label printing groups controls whether or not the role is allowed to actually send the group of labels to the printer.
