Adjust Quantities

 

Overview

Adjust quantities allows the user to adjust the quantity of a frame inventory item in a specific warehouse.

Permissions

The relevant permissions to perform quantity adjustment can be found in Rx-Hub → Roles → (Specific Role) → Rx-Inventory. Learn more or get a refresher on how our User Roles and Permissions work.

Required Setup and Configurations

 

  • Ensure Rx-Inventory is installed

  • Ensure correct permissions are configured

Working with Frame Warehouse Record - Instructions

Important

The following modules/applications must be running for this feature to work:

  • Rx-Inventory

  • Rx-Hub

You need to have the appropriate user permissions to access this feature

Creating Adjustment Quantities

 

  1. From the Rx-Inventory dashboard, go to the side navigation menu on the left and select the Manage Inventory option, then the Adjust Quantities option.

  2. To find the inventory item using UPC, enter the UPC of the frame and click on the Find Item button. (The find item modal will show up.)

     

  3. Click the Clear button to start over.

     

Find Item

 

To find inventory items using other frame attributes (e.g. name, collection, brand, model, manufacturer, material, gender, class), you can use the Find Item functionality.

  1. Select the frame attributes of the frame that you are looking for. This should show the list of the frames that matches your criteria.

  2. You will prompted to select an item (based on a unique combination of frame identifiers) by clicking the corresponding Select button of the item you want to adjust. This will show a list of the available sizes for the selected frame.

 

  1. To pick an individual frame item, you need to select the correct size.

     

  2. The last step is the Warehouse selection. You can click on the Select button of the warehouse that you want the quantity adjusted for the inventory item.

  3.  

  4. The adjustment quantities page and the frame information will auto be populated based on the selected item, size and warehouse.

 

Update required fields.

Now that we’ve got the frame item and the warehouse added, it’s time to populate the required fields.

1. Adjust the quantity based on the desired number (You can use the adjustment arrow to update the number of quantity).

 

Update the amount on the Unit Cost field (You can use the adjustment arrow to update the amount of unit cost).

 

  1. Must enter the adjustment description.

  2. Click the Submit button.

Adjust Quantity SKUs

We can navigate the Adjustment Quantities by following the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the SKUs page on the side navigation menu. Click the Edit button on any items on the table or click on any row (if Click Action is set to Edit)

     

  2. Navigate and scroll down and go to the Warehouse tab. If you want to adjust the quantity and unit cost just click the Adjustment icon.

     

  3. It will redirect to the Adjustment Quantities page and the Frame information will auto be populated based on the selected warehouse.

  4. You can proceed with the adjustment per usual and submit it.

 

Adjustment Quantities Column Definitions

Here you can find a brief description of the fields that can be found on Adjustment Quantities.

UPC

The Universal Product Code of the frame inventory item that this adjustment is applied.

Warehouse

The warehouse that you are applying this adjustment for the inventory item.

Adjust Quantity By

The quantity change applied for this adjustment. This can be positive or negative quantity change.

Unit Cost

The unit cost of the inventory item for this adjustment.

Quantity Adjustment Transaction Records

When performing quantity adjustments, appropriate transaction records will be generated for it. Below are samples of the transactions created from quantity adjustments. Learn more about Rx-Inventory Transactions here.

You can view these transaction records in two areas, the SKU Transaction page and the main Transaction page.

To view this, navigate to SKU → Transactions tab (scroll down at the bottom section of the SKU page)
