Introduction

This document explains how to navigate and input data using your keyboard. Optifacts has several different types of screens. Each type of screen has standards for navigating and inputting data.

Procedure

Select Option 7 – Tray Track and press Enter.

Select Option 1 - Quick Lookup and press Enter.

Quick Lookup

The Quick Lookup screen displays. 

Help Window

To access the help window, type a question mark (?) in the job list screen of Quick Lookup. 

Shortcut Keys

Use the following shortcut keys to navigate through the Quick Lookup screens.

  Arrow Down

Press the Arrow Down key to move down one row.

  Arrow Up

Press the Arrow Up key to move up one row.

  Escape

Press the Esc key to exit.

  Down

Press D to navigate down to the next screen or page.

  Page Down

Press Page Down to navigate to the next screen or page.

  Up

Press U to navigate back to the previous screen or page.

  Page Up

Press Page Up to navigate back to the previous screen or page.

  Top

Press T to navigate to the top of the list or page.

  Bottom

Press B to navigate to the end of the list or page.

  Invoice

Press I to open the Invoice/Delivery Note window.

  Work Ticket

Press W to open the work ticket window.

  History

Press H to view the tray history window.

  Notes

Press N to view the tray notes window.

  Miscellaneous

Press M to open the Miscellaneous Details window.

  Print

Press P to print the screen.

  Add Notes

Press A to add notes or comments.

  Future

Press F to open the Future Station Message window.

  Redraw

Press Ctrl-B to refresh the screen.

  Job Data

Press J to open the Job Data window.

  Relaunch

Press R to relaunch a job.

  Delete Notes

Press K to delete tray notes or comments.

  Edit

Press E to edit the job in Order Entry.

  Credit

Press C to credit the job in Order Entry.

  Old

Press O to view previous work tickets.

  Stock Credit

Press S to open the stock credit change window.

  Expedite

Press X to expedite.

  Price Archive

Press Y to open the price archive.

  Old Price Archive

Press Z to open older price archives.

  Quit

Press Q to exit the work ticket or invoice screen.

Additional prompts to search for specific Work tickets, or Invoices/Delivery Notes, shown in the table below. 

The Archive Data Retrieval Help Window displays when the option selected is to view and or print work tickets or invoices from the Quick Look Up screen.

Function

Press J, Enter, or the Arrow Down key to navigate forward one line.

Press F, or Space Bar, to navigate to the next page.

Press Y, K, or the Arrow Up key to return to the previous line.

Press B to return to the previous page.

Press Q to exit the viewing screen.

Press H to view other commands.

Press the ESC key to exit the help window.
