Rx-Workstations: Complete Jobs

Pre-requisites

  • Rx-Universe 7.62.00 or higher

  • Rx-Xplore 1.11.0 or higher

  • Rx-Transfer 2.7.0 or higher

  • Rx-Hub 1.11.0 or higher

Overview

This workstation allows you to complete active orders in Rx-Universe through Rx-Suite.

Permissions

Rx-Suite provides you with an exceptional level of control over user permissions. With our platform, you can easily grant users full or read-only access to specific features within the Workstations module. Moreover, we offer the flexibility to create custom roles with pre-defined permissions, allowing you to assign appropriate access rights to different users efficiently.

The relevant permissions can be found in Rx-Hub → Roles → (Specific Role) → Rx-Xplore.

  • In Rx-Hub, edit the role of the user you want to grant access to.

  • Grant the role “Use” permission for Complete Jobs in the Rx-Xplore permissions tab. Make sure you click on the “Update Role” button to save the settings. Learn more about setting up roles.

Order Number

The Order number that was scanned to be marked as completed

Message

The response given by RxUniverse. This will usually be Success or an Error message explaining why the submission was unsuccessful

Date

The date the scan was submitted

Time

The time the scan was submitted

Status

The indicator if the order was submitted for completion successful or not.

 

  • Green check icon denotes successful completion of the order

 

  • Red exclamation icon denotes unsuccessful submission. Feedback on the failure reason is noted on the message column

Submitting an Order for completion

 Instructions

To submit an Order, follow these steps:

  1. From the Workstations dashboard, go to the side navigation menu and select the Complete Jobs option. This menu option will navigate you to the appropriate page to begin submitting orders for completion.

  1. You can begin scanning/entering order numbers into the input box located at the top of the page to start submitting orders for completion.

  1. Once an order number has been entered you can hit the Enter Key on your keyboard, or click on the Submit button located on the right hand side.

  2. The scan history located in the center of the page will then be updated, your latest scan will then be added to the grid. You will be given information on if the submission was successful, if unsuccessful a description explaining why will be given to you. (Successful/Unsuccessful submissions can be easily identified in the Status column)

Additional Information

  • Tray Number can also be used to submit an Order.

  • A barcode scanner can be used to Input & Submit an Order.

  • If Jobtrack station verify flag is on in Rx-Universe, you will not be able to complete the order if the workstation workflow conditions are not met by the order. Example: you will not be able to complete an order that has lab-supplied items that you haven't picked yet.
