Order Entry

If a job was saved unvalid by remote because account was over credit limit, it was possible to modify the order, and by clicking "Calc" right away, make the job valid and put it into production.  This has been corrected.

If the account on an order is changed, check to see if the new account has a Ship To address, if so, automatically change the Ship To.

Change so that when the "=" is pressed in the Lens Information Section, it only copies the right values to the left values for the Lens Style, Material, Treat, Tint, Manufacturer, Base Curve, Diameter and Thickness. Also, change so that when the "=" is pressed in the Rx Information section, it only copies the right values to the left values for PD, NPD, Seg Height, Add, Upper Add and Thick.

Modified order entry to only allow view mode for Lensface remote orders.

When doing an order redo, if the original order had 2 eyes and the redo was only for one-eye only, sometimes when calculating the order it would give an invalid lens style error on the empty eye.

When editing an unvalid order with tray number of 00000, when putting in a tray number that had an FTD trace, the FTD trace was not being picked up and attached to the job - this has been corrected.

An optional check for duplicate orders has been added during manual order entry - for details, please see Check For Possible Duplicate Orders

Under certain circumstances, when new lenses were selected and there was an error during blank selection; the old lenses were not being taken out of 'In Process'.  This has been corrected.

When you change the search key, the search field is no longer being cleared.

Devices and Digital Surfacing

Vendor QLDS has been added as a supported vendor for digital surfacing in Rx-Universe; for rules specific to QLDS, please see QLDS

Fixed issues with the device parameters screen, the context help on some of the fields was incorrect.

Vendor Lensface has been added as a supported vendor for pre-calculated Epson-Seiko orders.

Jobs flagged "Uncut without frame" did not calculate finish layout, which caused a problem if the lab then decided to edge the job at the lab.  This has been corrected (although the better solution remains changing the job type to "Full Job" to ensure pricing is correct as well).

When BRS requests are used with a digital calculator, and the nominal curves returned are different but the Rx falls within the range to not split base curves, Rx-Universe will now make the beginning nominal curve the same for both eyes.

QLDS has been added as a new support digital vendor.  For complete details see QLDS

Fix issue with incorrect HBOX, VBOX going to engraver when _CRIBHBOX and _CRIBVBOX were received from a remote order.

Job Tracking

When modifying a job track station conveyer station (it starts with a "#"), if this is a new station, the conveyer rules tab locks up.  When modifying an existing conveyer station rules, and removing a rule, the rule is not removed when saving the change.

Remote Order Entry

Support has been added for Lensface orders, which are pre-calculated Epson-Seiko digital order with the remote processor.

A "Lensface Customer" field has been added to the Remote Parameters maintenance screen.

The VCA translations have been modified to allow "Addon" codes as part of the translations, if needed.

Fix issue with Lensface orders not saving the RX-Prism correctly.

Printing

When printing PDF documents while in a thin client session, the temporary files were left on the server.  The program was modified to remove the temporary files after they are copied to the thin client PC.

When using user-definable work tickets or other documents, several new labels have been added to allow printing of new information (see User Defined Work Tickets).  The XML work ticket will now also create the P? job tracking entries when a work ticket was printed (this previously worked only for the native PCL work ticket format).

Pricing

A new option has been added to Stock Order Pricing to allow the user to copy a price list.

Addon pricing, fixed issue with the screen looping when an enterred price is a duplicate.

Inventory

A new option has been added to the Inventory menu, "Export OPC Barcodes".  This option prompts for a lens filter and the name of the file to be exported.  The file contains the OPC barcode and the description of the lens (see Export OPC Barcodes).

The Lens Filter that is used in Inventory Reports and other inventory functions has been changed to add Base/Sphere, Add/Cyl, Upper Add, Diameter, Thickness, Inter Seg and Near Seg fields.  Please see Lens Filter

Rx-Site

The Rx-Site Lens Product Selection program is now faster when selecting lenses from the filter and more user friendly.
