Introduction
(Optional) The character setting field now has an additional option for the existing “WRITE ENGRAVER FILE” cust_cfg record.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.
Select Option 6 – Configuration Editor and press Enter.
Select Option 6 – Edit Custom Configuration and press Enter.
The Custom Configuration Editor displays.
- Press “Q” to Query.
- Ensure that the table below exists.
If the table does not exist:
- Press “A” to add a new record.
- Enter all the information as per the example (s) below.
- Here are the options and settings that have been available before release 7.3.69:
- Character setting = O (upper case letter): Write an OMA engraver interface file.
- Character setting = V: Write a VFT engraver interface file.
- Character setting = B: Write both an OMA and a VFT engraver interface files.
- Float setting = 1: Write VFT engraver file to the vft.dir directory. Float setting = 0: Write VFT interface file to the oma.dir directory.
- Integer setting = 1: Write a single VFT engraver interface file with pair data.
- Here are the options and settings that have been available before release 7.3.69:
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press “E” to exit.
