Introduction
This document provides instructions for setting up the track station “JOB ‘JOB DATA ENTRY”ENTRY.’ This station will allow for allows you to make changes to be made to the job data collection fields associated to with a job.
- This will look feature looks for job data fields associated with a given tray. All fields that have been triggered will be prompted. This It allows you to add or edit the job data fields associated with the job, such as Medicaid numbers or PO numbers, Mail to Patient, or other such data after they might have already been enteredorder entry.
- This It also allows a layout an order entry operator to escape out of the data prompts to allow a second station to deal with misc. miscellaneous data.
Procedure
Setup Sub-Master Station
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 7 - Tray Track and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 12 - Tray Track Configuration and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 2 - Sub-Master Station Number Setup and press enterEnter.
The Sub-Master Station Number Setup screen displaysis displayed.
Type Q for query.
- Press ‘Q’ to
- Perform a search to see if the record exists.
If it does not exist:
- Type A Press ‘A’ to add a new record.
- Enter all the applicable data, as per shown in the following example pressing enter Enter past each field.
- Press escape to save the data.
- Type E to exit the screen.
Job Data Change Process
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 7 - Tray Track and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 7 - Station Assignment and press enterEnter.
The following screen displays.
- Type Enter the station number and press enter. This number varies by lablabs. Check with your system administrator for the correct station number to enter.
- Type Enter the Job, Invoice, or Tray number and press enter.
The following Job-Related Data Entry screen
displaysis displayed. This screen is the same screen that an order entry operator would see when entering an order that requires additional job data.

- Make any necessary changes and press enterEnter.
The screen will flashflashes, the data is accepted, and you are returned return to the Station Assignment screen.
- Press escape Escape to exit the screen..
