Introduction

This report will give you the number and Sales/Cost or Profit of Lenses sold per Lens style, Type, and Material. There are several options that this report can be generated by, as in the diagram below. By default, the Show Price Group by Identifier is Lenses. See the Custom Report Options Instructions for printing this report by a different Identifier. This report can only be output to a printer.

Procedure

From the Optifacts Main Menu:

Select Option 5 – Report Generators and press Enter.

Select Option 7 – Sales Analysis Reports and press Enter.

Select Option 4 – Customer Lens Report and press Enter.

The Customer Lens Report Options form displays.

  • Enter the beginning and ending date range.
  • Enter the beginning and ending company code.
  • Enter the beginning and ending branch code.
  • Enter the beginning and ending territory code.
  • Enter the account group name to report or leave the default “NO GROUP.”
  • Enter the beginning and ending account code.
  • Enter the material type to include or leave the default * (asterisk) for all.
  • Enter “E” for edged, “U” for uncut, “S” for stock, or “A” for all.
  • Enter the style to include or leave the default * (asterisk) for all.
  • Enter the lens type to include or leave the default * (asterisk) for all.
  • Enter the manufacturer to include or leave the default * (asterisk) for all.
  • Enter the material code to include or leave the default * (asterisk) for all.
  • Enter the color code to include or leave the default * (asterisk) for all.
  • Enter “M” material or 1-12 for the number of completed billing periods.
  • Enter “Y” to page break between accounts or “N” for no page break.
  • Enter a number between 1-9 for the number of copies to print.
  • Enter “Y” to report for each account individually or “N” for no separation.
  • Enter “Y” to report for each sales territory individually or “N” for no separation.
  • Enter “Y” for a page summary or “N” for no summary.
  • Enter “Y” to print in landscape mode or “N” for portrait mode.
  • Enter “Y” to show turnaround time after subtotals or “N” not to show.
  • Enter “Y” to save the report to your share directory or “N” not to save.
  • Enter the price group identifier:
    • Lenses
    • Jobs
    • Pairs
  • Enter the method for subtotalling:
    • C – Count
    • M - % Material
    • S - % Style
    • T – Total Only
    • N – None
  • Enter one of the following options for show dollars on the right side:
    • S – Sales
    • C – Cost
    • P – Profit (Sales less cost)
    • N – None
  • Enter “Y” to show values in lab currency or “N” to show the customer’s currency.
  • Enter “Y” to show separate rows for color or “N” not to show.

The report prints and displays the following message:

  • Press Enter to return to the Sales Analysis Report menu.
