Overview
Frame pick to scan the lenses and frames and update the Inventory picked on the Rx-Universe.
Permissions
The relevant permissions to perform frame pick can be found in Rx-Hub → Roles → (Specific Role) → Rx-Inventory. Learn more or get a refresher on how our User Roles and Permissions work.
Required Setup and Configurations
Ensure Rx-Inventory is installed
Ensure Rx-Transfer is running
Ensure correct permissions are configured

Important
The following modules/applications must be running for this feature to work:
Rx-Inventory
Rx-Transfer (API service)
Rx-Hub
Rx-Universe (to check the inventory transactions)
You need to have the appropriate user permissions to access this feature
Lookup order or tray number
From the Rx-Inventory dashboard, go to the side navigation menu on the left and select the Frame Pick option.
To find the order or tray number just enter the existing number.
Once you hit the lookup button it should redirect to this page.
Scan OPC
To pick the lens and frame it needs to scan the frames, right and left lens.
Copy the OPC number for right and left lenses and paste it to the Scan OPC then hit scan button.
For frame copy the UPC number on the frame table and paste it on the Scan OPC then hit scan button.
After scanning the lenses and frame it will automatically submit the scan button. (see Rx-Universe Inventory Transactions after submitting)
There’s an option to choose what should it pick for lenses and frame. (see screenshots below)

Now that we’ve scanned the frame and lenses, it’s time to check if the inventory picked was already updated.
Open the Rx-Universe → Orders → Customer Service → View → View Inventory Transactions
Frame Pick Column Definitions
Here you can find a brief description of the fields that can be found on Frame Pick.
Column Name | Description |
---|---|
Order Number | The order number of the item to lookup for lenses and frame. |
Tray Number | The tray number of the item to lookup for lenses and frame. |
OPC | The OPC number of the lens for scanning. |
UPC | The UPC number of the frame for scanning. |
