Introduction

This document provides instructions for loading the frame database and inventory records using templates.

Procedure

Before you begin it, we recommend that you request an unload of your frame database to review what you currently have in your database. Then, contact Optifacts support by email at support@optifacts.com or login to the Optifacts Service Desk to submit your requests directly.

https://rxuniverse.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/12. We will unload the database to the appropriate templates and send them to you for review and changes.

To ensure a successful data load, all fields must be entered with upper case alpha letters. Lower case alpha letters will cause data load errors.

If loading your database for the first time, you will need to use the two enclosed Excel templates to create the frame records you want us to add. We have entered the first row on each as an example for reference only. If you do not have data to apply to those fields, this row indicates which fields are mandatory or filled in with 0, dates, or other values.

Step 1 - Frame Description Table (o_frm_desc)

The o_frm_desc template is what you see in the 12-1-5 menu. Use the o_frm_desc template to create new frames. (Screenshot below)

  • Do not create duplicate records of what already exists in your Optifacts database.
  • The FPC or SKU must be unique.

Step 2 - Frame Inventory Record (o_invt_rec)

The o_invt_rec table is what you see when you press the letter D from inside the 12-1-5 menu.

  • You must enter and match the SKU on this template to the SKU you have added to the o_frm_desc template.
  • Use the o_invt_rec template to add the stock status, min/max, and bin location.

Submit to Optifacts Support

Once you have completed the templates, submit them with your requests through the support portal email at support@optifacts.com or log in to the Optifacts Service Desk to submit your requests directly. https://rxuniverse.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/12.
