Introduction

This document provides instructions for adding Job Data configurations for the “Specify Block R” and “Specify Block L” lite-ups for manual block picking.

Procedure

Job Data Definitions

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.

Select Option 6 – Configuration Editor and press Enter.

Select Option 7 – Edit Job Data Definitions and press Enter.

The Prompt Configuration for Miscellaneous Job-Related Data screen is displayed.

  • Press “Q” to Query to ensure that the tables shown in the following 2 diagrams exist.
  • Enter some relevant data and press Escape to perform the search.

If the tables do not exist:

  • Press “A” to add a new record.
  • Enter all the information, as shown in the following diagram.
  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Press “E” to exit the screen.

Job Data Triggers

From the Optifacts Main Menu:

  • Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.
  • Select Option 6 – Configuration Editor and press Enter.
  • Select Option 8 – Edit Job Data Triggers and press Enter.

The Triggers to Cause Prompts for Miscellaneous Job-Related Data screen displays.

  • Press “Q” to Query to ensure that the tables in the following 2 diagrams exist.
  • Enter some relevant data and press Escape to perform the search.

If the tables do not exist:

  • Press “A” to add a new record.
  • Enter all the information, as shown in the following diagram.
  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Press “E” to exit the screen.

The Lite-up (num) and Lite-up (bit) numbers may vary by lab. Please refer to the Retail Pricing Options Report to locate the correct numbers.
