Introduction

This document provides instructions for setting up Tray Marry. This process allows you to assign with a tray. You can assign a tray to a station manually as well as using the barcode scanners.

Procedure

Setup

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option 7 – Tray Track and press Enter.

Select Option 12 – Tray Track Configuration and press Enter.

Select Option 2 – Sub-master Station Number Setup and press Enter.

The Tray Track Sub-Master Station Number Setup Window is displayed.

  • Press ‘Q’ to Query.

Ensure that the following table below exists.

If the table does not exist:

  • Press ‘A’ to add a new record.
  • Enter all the information as per the example (s) below. 
  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Press ‘E’ to exit.

The station numbers vary by lab, but the station description must be ‘TRAY MARRY.’

Process

When a job comes in, and a bar code in the proper format is available, the user can use Station Assignment in tray Track to receive jobs assign the tray number to the original job.

If a tray is assigned to the original job successfully, you see that the message at the bottom of the screen tells you that the tray was updated.

You may see a message shown below if a job already has a tray number associated with it.
