Introduction

This document provides instructions for adding entries to the Manufacturer Substitution table.

This table allows the lab to substitute the manufacturer code for a specific SKU or to substitute one manufacturer code for another.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option 9 - Inventory and press

Enter.

Select Option 4 - EOE Procedures and press

Enter.

Select Option 9 - Manufacturer Substitution Editor and press Enter.

• Enter the Warehouse ID. (This option displays only if your lab

• uses for multiple warehouses.)
• Enter the

• original SKU code or Mfr code. (The “Original SKU Code or Mfr” field can hold either a 10 digit SKU number or a manufacturer code. The substitution routine looks for a matching SKU code first. If the SKU is not in the database, the routine then looks for a matching Mfr code.)
• Enter the Mfr code to substitute.
• Press Escape to save the data.
• Press “E” to exit.
