Introduction
This document covers removing a frame trace from both the trace library and
unlinking (removing
) itthe link from a Frame Inventory record.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
TypeSelect Option 3 - Editor Utilities and press Enter.
Select Option 2 - Frame Database Editor and press Enter.
Select Option 8 - Retrieve Trace from Library and press Enter.
The Retrieve Trace Data from Trace Library screen displays.
- Enter enough information to locate the frame in question. You can use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard character to help locate the frame.
- Answer “Y” when the correct frame gets displayed on the screen.
More information about the frame is displayed.
- Answer “Y” if the information displayed is correct for the frame.
If you answered “Y” above, you get asked if you want to remove this Frame.
- Do you want to remove this frame (Y/N or R to Remove from remotes)? [Y]
- Answer “” (This will NOT remove the Frame Inventory record, it will just remove the trace from being associated with the Inventory record)
If you answered “Y,” the screen returns to the first prompt for the frame name. The tracing record you had been working with gets removed.
If you need to remove another tracing, repeat the process.
- Press Escape to exit.
