Introduction

This document provides instructions

for

Procedure

menu 3-6-19

for editing the OMA fields for a specific tray.

  • This screen allows you to add any field to the OMA file.
  • These records get stored in the table and will update the OMA file automatically.
  • These records override what the system would typically send.
  • These records get removed when the tray gets mailed out.
  • You can enter records for a tray even before the job is verified.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.

Select Option 6 – Configuration Editor and press Enter.

Select Option 19 – Edit OMA Fields and press Enter.

The OMA Fields Configuration screen is displayed.

  • Enter the tray number.
  • Make changes as necessary.
  • Press Enter past the last field to save the entry or Escape to exit.

Since the fields are fixed, all you need to do is fill in the numbers.  The number you put in the BEVP field will determine which other field the OMA device will use, either BEVC or BEVM.  My example below will be to follow the front going 0.5mm from front

  • 2 – Percent back (BEVM = % from front)
  • 3 – Frame curve (BEVC = curve to follow, BEVM = mm       from front)
  • 4 - 50/50
  • 5 - Follow back (BEVM = mm from back)
  • 6, 8, 9 - Unused
  • 7 – Automatic (Use edger settings)
  • 10 - Free float

BEVC numeric
