Introduction
This document provides instructions for enabling the APPEND THK custom configurations to allow thickness control by lite-up.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 6 – Configuration Editor and press enterEnter.
Type Select Option 6 – Edit Custom Configuration and press enterEnter.
The Custom Configuration Editor displays.
- Press Q “Q” to Query to ensure that the table below exists.
If the table does not exist:
- Type A Press “A” to add a new record.
- Enter all the information, as shown in the diagram below.
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Type E Press “E” to exit.
The two records shown below need to be put into the cust_cfg table on each site sometime before the new programs start running. The exact field name must start with “APPEND THK”THK,” followed by anything to make it unique. The character setting field will be is the pricing option num, and the float setting field will be is the pricing option bit, and the integer setting field will be is the digit to append to the material code for the special default thickness Special Default Thickness lookup. The comment field can contain any text. The examples below have a short explanation of the fields. They could easily contain the description (such as Airwear).
You can modify the configurations even further to let the reader know
whatto which lite-ups the configuration belongs
to.
