Introduction

This document provides instructions for adding entries to the Manufacturer Substitution table. This table allows the lab to substitute the

manufacturer code for a specific SKU or to substitute one

manufacturer code for another.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Type Select Option 9 - Inventory and press enterEnter.

Type Select Option 4 - EOE Procedures and press enterEnter.

Select Option 9 - Manufacturer Substitution Editor and press

Enter.

• Type Enter the Warehouse ID and press enter. (This option will display displays only if your lab is setup uses for multiple warehouses.)
• Type Enter the original SKU code or Mfr code and press enter. (The "Original “Original SKU Code or Mfr" Mfr” field can hold either a 10 digit SKU number or a manufacturer code. The substitution routine will look looks for a matching SKU code first. If a the SKU is not foundin the database, the routine will then look looks for a matching Mfr code.)
• Enter the Mfr code to substitute.
• Press Escape, to save the data.
• Type E to exit.Press “E” to exit.
