Introduction

This document provides instructions for assigning a stock status to lenses.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Type Select Option 9 - Inventory and press enterEnter.

Type Select Option 1 - Editor Utilities and press enterEnter.

Type Select Option 10 - Stocked/Non-stocked Entry and press enterEnter.

  • Enter all of the applicable relevant lens details pressing enter Enter after each field to display the specified product. Be as specific as possible.

  • Set the Stocked flag and press enterEnter.
    • Y - Item is stocked in inventory
    • N - Item is not stocked in inventory
    • D - Item is discontinued

The new stock status will be set.

Image Removed

  • Press Escape to exit the screen.
Note: If an item is being marked
    • Enter “Y” to set the inventory as Stocked.
    • Enter “N” to set the inventory as Non-stocked.
    • Enter “D” to set the item as discontinued.

The system updates the stock status.

Image Added

  • Press Escape exiting the screen.

If you mark an item as discontinued and all on-hand stock is gone,

remove it from the Supplier List Editor in menu 8-2. After removing from the supplier list, run the Expansion from menu 8-4 and the Activation from menu 8-7 to update the system
