Introduction
This document provides instructions for setting up the custom configurations for Commercial Pricing.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type 3 – Editor Utilities and press enter.
Type 6 – Configuration Editor and press enter.
Type 6 – Edit Custom Configuration and press enter.
The Custom Configuration Editor displays.
- Press Q to Query.
- Ensure that the applicable table exists.
If the table does not exist.:
- Type A to add a new record.
- Enter all the information as per the example (s) below.
- Press Escape ESC to save the data.
- Type E to exit.
Allow 0 Sphere Price
This configuration is required in order to allow allows the Commercial Pricing tables to work in conjunction with the traditional price lists.
No Commercial Price Feasibility Warning
Enabling this will display configuration displays feasibility warnings.
Stop 0 Lens Price Jobs
This configuration is required in order to allow allows the Commercial Pricing tables to work in conjunction with the traditional price lists.
Turn off Commercial Hand Pricing
When enabled, a job with HAND PRC INV will zero zeros out all commercial hand pricing and only price prices the LENS itemization category. If this custom configuration is not enabledis not enabled, HAND PRC INV will act acts like a discount to any commercial pricing, retaining the original commercial prices for reporting.
Net Override Old Pricing for New Pricing
This configuration will override overrides any old pricing that is set up in the traditional pricing tables.
Excludes Non-discountable Line Items from Sales Bonus
This configuration will exclude excludes any non-discountable items discountable items from being added to the sales persons salespersons' bonus.
Override Price Order
This configuration will allow you to set the order in which the allows the order to be set to determine how the price Percent/Max/Override are appliedapplies.
- Set Enter the following letters in into the character setting Character Setting field in the order you want pricing to be appliedthe price lists apply.
- P - Percent
- M - Max Fee
- O - Override
In our the example below, we have set the order as is Override 1st, Percentage 2nd and Max Fee 3rd.
