Introduction

This document provides instructions for assigning a stock status.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Type 9 - Inventory and press enter.

Type 1 - Editor Utilities and press enter.

Type 10 - Stocked/Non-stocked Entry and press enter.

• Enter all of the applicable lens details pressing enter after each field to display the specified product. Be as specific as possible. You will not be able to proceed if the information is not entered correctly. Example: With style SVST, NA must be entered in the lens type field or it will not proceed.
• Set the Stocked flag and press enter.
  • Y - Item is stocked in inventory
  • N - Item is not stocked in inventory
  • D - Item is discontinued

The new stock status will be set.

• Press Escape to exit the screen.

Note: If an item is being marked as discontinued and all on hand stock is gone, it should also be removed from the Supplier List Editor menu 8-2. After removing from the supplier list, run the Expansion menu 8-4 and the Activation menu 8-7 to update the system pick list.
