Introduction

The following describes the process to enable FCS at a partner lab in the U.S. that is already doing digital calculations (single-instance of Optifacts) using RxCP.    At the time of this writing, the web-service calls are enabled for SCG calculated products and FCS traditional calculations. However, calculations (digital and, or FCS) for digital Signet and Shamir products must still go through sockets connection to RxCP.

Procedure

From the Optifacts main menu:

Select Option 3 - Editor Utilities and press Enter.

Select Option 6 - Configuration Editor and press Enter.

Select Option 6 – Edit Custom Configuration and press Enter.

The Custom Configuration Editor is displayed.

  • Press “Q” to Query the table.
  • Enter some search criteria in any of the fields.
  • Press Escape to perform the search.

If the table does not exist:

  • Press “A” - Add a new record.
  • Enter all the information, as shown in the diagrams below.
  • Press Escape to save the data.
  • Press “E” to exit the screen.

Info

Note first that the field name of scg is in lower case.   You must modify this via a perform screen run from the command line.   The editor forces the use of the upper case.

The to_deo_script must be installed in the $CWD/bin directory, and the node itself must be installed in the Linux system.

Note

Very important:   These entries DO NOT respect the enabled flag, so do not add them to the editor unless the lab is ready to run with them.

Once the to_deo_script gets enabled, the system should start using to_deo_script to send the order via web service.

There are several files in the /tmp directory that help with diagnosis:

A log file for all jobs based on today’s date:  deo_rxcp_log.20190426

This file lists all jobs called via to_deo_script and lists the job_number on the right side of the output:

There are also several files for each order that’s output to list order-specific log info and error info:
