Introduction
This document provides instructions for editing the color itemizations within the Price List Editor.
Procedure
This menu option allows you to edit the itemization of any lens color. You can only edit itemizations for existing lens colors, if you want to create a new lens color you must do so with the Color Database Editor.
You are prompted to enter the color as entered in layout, but do not include any intensity values. Colors like Tinted, Green, and Brown require an intensity value of 1, 2, or 3 along with the color code when entered in Layout, but not in this editor. You may enter an asterisk (*) to bring up all
colors and scroll through them one by one.
If one or more matches are found, you are prompted if you wish to edit the current entry. Responding Yes will begin editing the plastic and glass billing categories, responding No will skip the current entry and move on to the next match. When there are no more entries, you are again prompted to enter a color code to edit. Press escape to return to the Pricing Editor Main Menu.
Some reasons to change itemization categories are wanting glass tint charges to be grouped into the LENS category, having transitions tint price into LENS category or even into a separate category for special sales analysis tracking.
