Introduction
This document provides instructions for manually adjusting the minimum and maximum lens inventory quantity, and override the automatic system calculation.
Procedure
*** If the min/max setting is changed to Manual, Optifacts will not calculate based upon average usage and will re-order based only upon the manual min/max values entered. ***
From the Optifacts main menu:
Type 9 - Inventory and press enter.
Type 1 – Editor Utilities and press enter.
Type 5 – On-Hand Min/Max Changes and press enter.
Search by SKU #
Type S to search by SKU number and press enter.
Type or scan the SKU number and press enter.
The item details will be populated on the screen.
Search by Description
Type D to search by Description and press enter.
Enter all applicable item details. The system will search based upon the input. If the item is found it will display on screen.
Change Quantities
Press Enter to the Min-Stock Quantity field.
Type the new minimum quantity and press enter.
Type M in the Min-Stock Override C field and press enter.
M – Manual if the minimum stock level is to be maintained manually.
C – Computed based upon usage history.
Type the new maximum quantity and press enter.
Type M in the Max-Stock Override C field and press enter.
M – Manual if the maximum stock level is to be maintained manually.
C – Computed based upon usage history.
Are all the data correct? (Y/N)
Enter one of the following options and press enter.
Y – Yes to save the data.
N – No to return to the form.
Press Escape to exit and return to the Optifacts Lens Inventory Editor Utilities Menu.
