Introduction
This document provides instructions for setting up the condition to route orders if the lens is out of stock in inventory.
Procedure
Route Reason and Control Editor
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 3 – Editor Utilities and press Enter.
Select Option 11 – Job Routing Menu and press Enter.
Select Option 8 – Route Reason and Control Editor and press Enter.
The Job Routing Reason and Control Manager will display.
- Enter all the applicable data, pressing Enter past each field.
Use the phrase OUT OF STOCK as shown below in the Fld Name frm Job Def: field. Combine this phrase with a mix of other fields such as group triggers, materials, etc., to manage job routing whenever one or more lenses selected for an Rx have 0 quantity on hand in inventory.
This process makes no distinction for whether a lens is marked stocked or non-stocked in inventory.
