Introduction
This document provides instructions for setting up a Message of the Day.
Procedure
From the Optifacts main menu:
Select Option 11 – Retail Transfer and press Enter.
Select Option 8 – Editor: Message of the Day Entry and press Enter.
The TNT Message of the Day screen displays.
Add a New Record
- Press “A” to add a new record.
- Enter the account code. Account “0” zero shows the message for all accounts that do not have a specific entry.
- Enter in the message that you would like to appear on the web site for this account.
- Press escape to save the data.
- Press “ctrl-c” to exit without saving.
- Press “E” to exit and return to the Retail Transfer menu.
Edit an Existing Record
- Press “Q” to Query.
- Enter the relevant details using the fields provided and press escape.
The specified data displays on the screen.
- Press “U” to update the data.
- Make any necessary changes.
- Press Escape to save the data.
- Press “ctrl-c” to exit without saving.
- Press “E” to exit and return to the Retail Transfer menu.
