Rx-Workstations: High-Level Functional Areas


Purpose

This document aims to identify the key functions of the high-level functional areas of the Rx-Workstations module. The list will be used for multiple initiatives such as the training of new employees and the support and implementation teams, for user documentation, and as a base for our QA automation initiatives.

Workticket Look-up

Required Setup

  • Check the required set-up in Rx-Xplore here.

Workticket Page

  • (These pages are created and named by the using in the settings tab), This page allows you to retrieve an Rx order from RxUniverse, generate the appropriate LOHReport workticket and display this on screen. 

    • Invalid Job lookup return the appropriate error message notifying the user this job does not exists 

    • Appropriate error message is displayed if the RxUniverse Device program is not running. 

    • Workticket that is displayed on the screen once a lookup is done is the correct associated xml template. 

    • All created pages are correctly displayed under the navigation menu 

 

 Settings

  • Settings is a page that lets you create a new page that will display an associated XML template.  

  • Provided name must be unique. 

  • Created page is appropriately displayed in the navigation menu with the correct name

Lens Pick

  • Users can retrieve an order from RxUniverse, view if the lens pick has already been performed, if not they will be able to scan their OPCs to validate the correct lens has been selected. 

    • Retrieving a job displays the correct lens information for each eye. (If a one eye job, this will be displayed on screen) 

    • Orders that have already been through lens pick will display (Already Picked) under the picked eyes. 

    • Invalid/Unnecessary scanned OPCs will display error messages to the user notifying them. 

    • Lens Pick should be automatically submitted once all lenses have been scanned for a job. 

WS Scanner

  • Users can set a station by scanning or entering the station number, after a station is set, they may continue scanning jobs into the selected station. 

    • A list of previous scans for this session is displayed 

    • Invalid scans are clearly marked 

 

  • View all Stations, this lists all the stations available inside of the labs RxUniverse system.  

    • Filtering stations by using the input box returns correct results

    • Clicking on a station will redirect the user to that WS Scanner page with that station set as the current station. 

 

Breakage Entry

  • This page allows users to submit a breakage entry for a lens on a job part of RxUniverse. Breakage mode is dependent on the configuration of their RxUniverse system (with sub-codes or without sub-codes) 

Sub-Codes 

  • Users will be asked to choose an Eye side, Department, Position, Reason, and a Shift.  

    • They may go back to a previous choice to change their selected option. 

    • Once all options are selected the breakage is automatically submitted.  

Without Sub-Codes 

  • Users will only be asked to select an Eye, and a Reason.
