Overview

We are pleased to announce the latest updates to Rx-Suite, Version 1.17.X. This release encompasses enhancements and bug fixes aimed at improving usability, performance, and the overall user experience. Below are the key highlights of this release:

New Features and Enhancements

  • Rx-Site Synchronization Improvement:
To enhance system performance, we've introduced a feature that allows sending a specific date/time to be used as a synchronization checkpoint for Rx-Site operations.

  • Rx-Inventory for SVS:
The Beffiting flag is now made available for specific customers only, enhancing customization and relevance to their operations.

Enhanced Purchase Order Functionality for Recalled Frames:

  • Streamlined Inclusion in POs: Recalled frames with "Special Order Item" status are now automatically added to purchase orders when their available quantity drops below zero, improving inventory management.

  • Manual Addition Flexibility: These frames can be manually included in POs via the ADD LINE feature, offering greater control over order composition.

Bug Fixes:

  • Mass Update Search Functionality:
Fixed an issue in Rx-Inventory where search fields were not retaining values after a page refresh on the Mass Update screen.

  • Qty Used Since Last PO Update:
Addressed a discrepancy where the "Qty used since last PO" metric was not updating correctly, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.

  • Lens Pick Submission Error:
Resolved a problem where submitting a Lens Pick resulted in an error, streamlining the lens selection process.

  • Retry Mechanism for Background Jobs:
Implemented a maximum number of retries for background jobs at SVS, preventing job queue overloads and ensuring smoother system operations.

  • Receiving PO Issues:
Corrected an issue in Rx-Inventory affecting the Receiving PO process, where certain actions were not reflecting as expected.

  • Quantity Received Update:
Fixed a bug where the quantity received was not updating correctly upon receiving a purchase order, ensuring accurate inventory levels.

  • User-defined Fields Update:
Resolved an issue where updating a user-defined field in Rx-Inventory did not trigger a refresh, maintaining consistency across user inputs.

These updates are part of our commitment to continually enhance the Rx-Suite's performance and user experience. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to bringing more improvements in future releases.
