Overview
For transferring accessory stocks to your stores or another warehouse, the Frame Transfer feature within your inventory system is designed to facilitate this process.
Creating a Transfer
Step 1: Navigate to the Frame Transfer Section
Go to the Frame Inventory.
Click on the Transfers navigation menu.
Step 2: View Transfer Documents
This page will show all incoming/outgoing transfer documents related to your current warehouse.
Step 3: Create a New Transfer
Click the Create button at the top of the page.
Step 4: Fill in Transfer Details
A menu will appear. Here, you will need to select a Transfer Type, an Origin, and a Destination.
Important: Ensure the AcuityLogic Order? flag is not checked. Otherwise, the frame transfer will be included on the “Shipped.dat” file that is sent to AcuityLogic.
Step 5: Submit Your Transfer
Click Submit to finalize.
Your new Transfer Document will now appear on the screen.
Adding Accessories Items to Your Transfer
Step 1: Open Your Transfer Document
Access this by clicking on the transfer in the list.
Step 2: Add Items
Click on the Add Lines button.
Enter the desired UPC or click Find Item to search using parameters like Name, Collection, Brand, etc.
Select the desired frame and enter the quantity to transfer.
Step 3: Finalize Addition
Click Submit. The accessories you've added will now appear in the transfer!
Printing Pick Ticket
Before Printing:
Set up the export format for the Accessories Pick Ticket.
To Print:
Export the frame transfer using the setup export format.
Completing a Frame Transfer
After Picking Accessories:
Ensure all accessories are ready for shipment.
Closing the Transfer:
If your system is configured to automatically print the Invoice, it will do so. Otherwise, you can manually export and print the Invoice using the Invoice stock format.
Sending an email to your Recipient:
After completing a frame transfer, you can further communicate the status of stock transfers to stores, labs, or any relevant parties by sending them the export documents via email. This additional step ensures everyone involved is up-to-date on the transfer status. To learn more about sending email, check Sending an Export Document via Email document.
