SIOU is a locally installed digital calculator, using a standard VCA interface.
The SIOU calculator supports BRS requests to determine optimal base curve selection, so it is not necessary to set up base curve charts for Siou designs.
Setting Up SIOU Digital Type
The SIOU calculator uses different LNAM codes for the same design in different materials, so the LNAM codes are set up in a VCA label table named "SIOU".
If the SIOU/LNAM table is not set up under "Devices", "VCA Label Table Settings", then you will need to download it using the "Import from Web" option.

Setting Up SIOU Lens Designs
The SIOU design should be set up with the correct LNAM value, using BRS requests, and the designs are centered on the frame.
There is a SIOU.CSV file supplied with Rx-Universe beginning in version 7.07.00 which makes setting up SIOU designs very easy.
